Stainless Steel Layout Square 📐 – Multi-Angle Marking & Measuring Tool
📐 Measure, Mark & Drill with One Tool
Stop switching between a ruler, square, angle guide, and marking jig.
This Industrial Multi-Function Layout Square combines measuring, angle marking, hole positioning, and straight-line layout in one heavy-duty tool — built for woodworking, cabinetry, framing, installation, and everyday workshop use.
Available in 250mm, 300mm, and 400mm lengths.

🔧 One Tool for More Than Just Measuring
📏 Stainless Steel Ruler Body
The main ruler is made from stainless steel for better rigidity, durability, corrosion resistance, and long-term workshop use.
The engraved scale is recessed into the ruler surface rather than simply printed on top, helping the markings stay clear and readable after repeated use.
🟥 Aluminum Alloy Handle
The red handle uses a thick aluminum alloy structure designed to stay rigid while keeping overall weight manageable.
Its wide base gives you a more stable reference surface when positioning the tool against the edge of a board.
That makes it easier to keep the ruler aligned while marking, measuring, or drilling.

📐 90° & 45° Reference Layout
The handle provides built-in reference geometry for common woodworking layout tasks.
Use it to quickly position the ruler for:
- 90° perpendicular lines
- 45° angle lines
- edge alignment
- cabinet and frame layout
- trim and installation work
Instead of pulling out a second square, you can handle multiple layout jobs with the same tool.
✏️ Precision Marking Holes
The ruler body includes a series of positioning holes that let you guide a pencil directly through the ruler.
This helps create cleaner, more repeatable parallel lines and position marks.
It is especially useful when you need to:
- mark repeated spacing
- draw parallel reference lines
- locate drilling points
- transfer measurements across a board
- keep marks aligned without the pencil slipping off the ruler edge
📐 Multi-Angle Marking
The integrated angle guides support multiple common layout angles, including:
This gives you much more flexibility than a standard straight ruler.
Use it for angled cuts, trim work, framing layouts, cabinet pieces, woodworking joints, and other jobs where repeatable angle marking matters.
🧰 Hidden Positioning Support
A built-in auxiliary positioning tab can be extended from the handle when extra support is needed.
It helps the tool sit more securely against the workpiece edge and reduces the chance of the handle dropping or shifting while you draw a line.
When not needed, it stores neatly inside the handle.
🔩 Built-In Marking Scribe
The handle also includes a concealed metal marking pin.
Rotate it out when you need a sharper reference mark on wood or other compatible work surfaces, then retract it back into the handle for storage.
That means another small workshop tool is already built into the square.

🛠️ How to Use
Step 1 — Position the Handle
Place the aluminum alloy handle firmly against the edge of the workpiece. This creates a stable reference point for the ruler.
Step 2 — Choose the Measurement or Angle
Use the engraved scale or the built-in angle guides depending on the layout you need. For straight lines, follow the ruler edge. For angled lines, align with the appropriate angle reference.
Step 3 — Mark Through the Positioning Holes
Insert a pencil tip into the correct guide hole and slide or mark along the ruler to create consistent spacing or parallel lines.
Step 4 — Use the Auxiliary Support When Needed
Extend the hidden positioning tab when you want extra support against the board edge. Retract it after use for compact storage.
Step 5 — Use the Marking Pin for Fine Layout
Rotate out the concealed scribe for precise reference marks, then return it to the handle when finished.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between the three versions?
The main difference is ruler length. The 250mm version is more compact, the 300mm version offers a balanced everyday size, and the 400mm version gives you more reach for larger boards and longer layout work.
Are the scale markings printed or engraved?
The scale markings are engraved into the stainless steel ruler body, helping them remain readable through repeated workshop use.
Can it be used for angle marking?
Yes. The tool includes multiple common angle references from 10° through 90°, including 30°, 45°, 60°, and other useful woodworking angles.
What are the holes in the ruler for?
They act as positioning and marking guides. You can place a pencil through the appropriate hole to create repeatable spacing, parallel lines, or drilling reference points.

🔩 Built for Faster, Cleaner Layout Work
A standard ruler measures. A square checks angles. A marking gauge lays out parallel lines. A drill guide helps position holes.
This tool combines many of those everyday layout jobs into one compact workshop system.
Less tool switching. Faster repeat measurements. Cleaner positioning. More consistent lines.
Whether you’re building cabinets, laying out trim, marking framing pieces, or working on weekend DIY projects, it helps turn measuring and marking into a faster, more controlled process.

✨ Measure once. Mark cleanly. Work smarter.
